Harryween Concert Experience MSG
Where do I even begin? Harryween was the absolute best night of my life hands down. I mean nothing can top what I witnessed on October 31st, 2021. My friends and I traveled to New York City two days before our concert date as we only had tickets to night 2, we had to experience the city and the hype, building up to the long awaited Halloween concert event; taking place over two completely sold out nights at Madison Square Garden.
Harry fans were easily identifiable wherever we went by the shirts being worn and tote bags being carried. Walking down the bustling streets heard above all of the horns honking and sirens wailing were the sounds of young girls back and forth complementing “I like your bag” “I like your shirt". Constantly refreshing social media feeds every few hours fans took their guesses as to what they thought Harry would be dressing as for his halloween costumes. Ideas ranged from Freddie Mercury to Britney Spears, with no one guessing Wizard of Oz or Clowns. On night 1 of Harryween styled in custom Gucci, Harry walked out on stage dressed as Dorothy sending the crowd into a massive meltdown and frenzy of screams and the internet was definitely broken. On Night 2 of Harryween styled once again in custom Gucci as he has been for the entire tour, he dressed as a Pierrot Clown; a costume fans had a harder time figuring out as he walked onstage.
A few of my friends who I attended night 2 of the concert with described their experiences below:
“It felt like an escape from reality the moment he stepped on stage, and i did not have a care in the world and nothing else around me mattered except him”
“Life-changing. It was Like a spiritual awakening. It made me forget everything bad going on in my life and allowed me to just enjoy every second of it.”
During the sold out show, Harry sang a special mashup mix of his unreleased song “Medicine” that he last performed on tour in 2018 and the iconic pop hit “Toxic” by Britney Spears and boy could you feel the entire building shake like an earthquake. A conga line breaking out on the floor and everyone on their feet jumping, consequently actually made MSG shake. Every moment truly felt like a dream, I had an emotional moment taking it all in, as he sang “Falling”. I looked around the arena that I dreamed about being inside of and I felt the happy tears fall down my cheeks. All the cell phone lights glowing it felt like I was in another galaxy, a galaxy full of crazy halloween costumes. I can’t begin to describe the full feeling without you readers being in that room with me. It was absolutely electric in the most magical way possible. Later that night we even went to a karaoke bar with Harry fans we met in the city and continued to sing our hearts out!
Harry Styles really gave us all a Halloween party to remember! Harryween was a night I will never ever forget. Best night of my life. Im not often left speechless but this left me totally overwhelmed with emotion. I truly could not love Harry Styles more than I do after this weekend. No rating for this experience because it was off the charts. I hope all of my readers get to experience Harry Styles in concert one day, it is truly a one of a kind experience.
