Louis Tomlinson ‘Faith In the Future’ Tour Experience
If you are a young female in your mid 20’s as I am, you have most likely grown up with the world’s biggest boy band, One Direction, and you probably experienced the haunting day of March 25th, 2015 the same way I did; you know what I am talking about! On this day the world received the devastating news 1D would be ending their days as a band… I will bravely admit I cried; but I know I was not alone in that feeling, just ask anyone, okay?
Throughout my days as a hardcore 1D fangirl, I was always a Harry girl and still am (reference my Love On Tour Reviews), I even had a cardboard cut-out in my room back in the day!
However, that is beyond the point!
Nearly ten years after seeing my last full band show I have gotten to see 4 out of 5 former 1D members live in concert as solo acts. Though all of the shows have been incredible in their own ways, my first time at a Louis Tomlinson show was beyond what I could have expected! At the last minute I was able to score tickets for my friend and I, to his Faith In The Future Tour stop in Tampa, FL. Named after his second studio album, this was Louis’s second solo tour. I was not able to attend his first tour as he did not stop in Florida but I was ecstatic to learn he would be touring again, this time included a Tampa date! He played at the University of South Florida’s Yuengling Center, and although it was not quite sold out, you never would have known when Louis took the stage. The crowd erupted, screaming every lyric right back at him, the energy was palpable!! The perfect place for my friend and I to have our single girls’ night out!
One of the things which stood out most to me was the originality and electricity of Louis’s stage; the lights were bright and flashing, almost like a vision, it felt surreal! The night was like a blur of singing and screaming our hearts out! Truly the epitome of fun! Like many concerts these days, thanks to Taylor Swift’s fans, I found myself trading friendship bracelets with the concertgoers around me; everyone was so friendly and creative!
Louis made this show feel like a safe space like you could be at home and not worry about anything else going on in the world around you. I truly lost myself in the music He even included two 1D songs, ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’ and ‘Night Changes’ into his setlist as an homage to his roots and a great throwback moment for those of us who have been here since the start in 2010.
I absolutely had one of the most fun nights I have ever had at this show! I absolutely cannot wait to see Louis again in the future! I will always be a fan of his and support him. I highly recommend attending a Louis Tomlinson show because it is an experience you do not want to miss!
I have Faith In The Future that he will be back in Tampa very soon!
