I am not a listener of Tony Bennett at all but I have always loved the collaborations between him and Lady Gaga. It is such a unique pairing, that one would never expect. So far as I am listening I feel like I should be watching an old Audrey Hepburn movie, or walking through an old Christmas classic movie. I feel like I should be waiting for Frank Sinatra to pop in and sing with them. This is the vibe I want when I am walking through New York City, with all of the glitz and glamour. I feel myself being in a really good mood as the album has continued. With each song that comes on Bennett and Gaga have such relaxing vocal tones. You would never know that Lady Gaga is the wacky and wild singer that she is from listening to this album, you would think she was from Tony Bennett’s time period. Lady Gaga can honestly pull off anything when she sings. As I have mentioned in previous reviews this will be the kind of album that will appear to both a young and older audience as Lady Gaga is a younger performer and Tony Bennett is a bit older. It will be music that everyone regardless of what generation can enjoy.
There are upbeat songs to dance to and soft slow ballads that may even make you a little emotional. I could see a lot of couples in the future using these songs for wedding music or just really fancy hotel restaurants or even lobbies. I can’t wait to one day walk through central park in the snow and blast this out loud like I am living a romantic fairytale fantasy.

It’s not something I originally pictured myself liking or being attracted to listen to it but it’s definitely a 10/10 go listen to Love For Sale right now!

-XOXO Rachel
