Tate Mcrae Feel Like Shit Single Review

Tik Tok star Tate McRae has released a new single that she has been teasing across her social media platforms for the last few weeks. Feel Like Shit is the leading single off of her upcoming debut album. This is one of her more somber songs as most of her releases over the past year have been very pop-heavy. This track describes the feeling of coping with post-breakup emotions, hence the name “Feel Like Shit”. McRae’s career has taken on a life of its own during the pandemic with Tik Tok taking the world by storm.

She has previously collaborated with artists like Khalid and Troye Sivan on smash hit singles. Tate McRae didn’t originally come from a singing background, she started as a trained dancer on “So You Think You Can Dance” back in 2016. She later took on singing. I discovered her this summer on my own Tik Tok feed and I have been watching her grow McRae as she played multiple music festivals this past summer. “Feel Like Shit” is definitely one of my favorite releases of hers yet!! Her voice is just so unique with the raspy tones she carries.

I can’t wait to hear the full album when it is released at some point next year! I know it will be just as incredible as the rest of her music so far. Next year you can find Tate McRae taking part in the “Wonder” Tour with Shawn Mendes in the fall of 2022. Overall this release is an 8/10 for me!!
