The album the entire world has been waiting for has finally been released. Immediately sending the world into a frenzy of emotional breakdowns as Taylor Swift dropped the once vaulted 10-minute version of her sad-girl hit “All Too Well” alluding to her Hollywood actor-ex Jake Gyllenhaal. It has taken me a hot minute to soak it all in. Though I never considered myself to be a “Swiftie” her music is super entertaining and fun to jam too driving down long highway roads! When Taylor announced she would be re-releasing all of her music I wasn’t expecting for this album to contain 30 songs! She includes new songs with big name artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, and Chris Stapleton as well as artists that were featured on the original album as well such as Ed Sheeran. Sheeran is featured on 2 tracks on the new version of RED.

Though the album was originally written and released in 2012, the songs are still just as vivid lyrically, each track is still very relevant with growing up and experiencing love and relationships and heartbreak. One of the things Taylor does best is stay consistently relevant. This is the second of six releases that Taylor will be recording again to regain control of her music after a battle with artist manager Scooter Braun.

If you haven’t listened to Taylor’s Version of RED or heard about it on any social media platform then you have been living under a rock. This is definitely one of Taylor’s career defining albums and this new release is a celebration of both the past and Taylor’s future. Definitely worth the listen!!! Overall I would say this release was a 7/10!
Go stream Taylor’s Version of RED on all streaming platforms now!!
