Adele Easy On Me Song Review
SHE’S BACK!!!
Adele has finally dropped her first highly anticipated single since the year 2015, from her upcoming “30” album. I don’t even know where to start with this review, I mean as expected Adele just has the most insane vocals ever. Already getting us listeners ready to be sobbing all the way through the holiday season, with the album release date set for right before Thanksgiving. As I listen too ‘Easy On Me’, the lyrics are so strikingly beautiful though they are from a perspective of hopelessness, as she sings at the beginning of the song “I know there is hope in these waters, But I can't bring myself to swim, When I am drowning in the silence.” From just coming out of a relationship in which she was married and the way her career took off in her mid 20’s, she expresses feeling as though she was too young and didn’t get to experience the world around her.
Adele is one of the greatest song writers in the world for not only her lyrics but her ability to turn pain into a beautiful musical expression. The simplicity of the piano being played in the background of this song is absolutely stunning. ‘Easy On Me’ is just another notch in Adele’s belt of great hits. Every ballad Adele releases just takes my breath away and this song is no different. When you turn this song on for the first time, as I am sure most of you are listening to it as you read this, six years of waiting for new music will feel totally worth it. Though the Grammy nominations for 2022 have already taken place, the Grammy’s in 2023 better watch out, Adele will be coming for that album of the year award for sure.
Overall this song is definitely a 10/10 for me, Adele truly never misses on any release. Get your box of tissues because Adele’s Easy On Me is available to stream everywhere now!
