Charlie Puth “Light Switch” Single Review

Charlie Puth is back with his first single release in nearly 4 years!!!!

Made from a joke on social media platform Tik Tok, Charlie Puth teased how easy it is to make a song from random sound effects. It soon hooked fans in! We all wanted more. He documented each stage of his creative song-making process and “Light Switch” became the result. It is the first song to be released from Puth’s upcoming self titled album, Charlie; expected to be out later this year via Atlantic Records. This will be his first album release since Voicenotes back in 2018.

Light Switch is everything you could possibly want from the hit song-maker, including his all too well known beat boxing beats to the use of an actual light switch turning on and off (as seen on Tik Tok). Avid music fans just voted in a poll published on Billboard choosing Charlie’s 80’s inspired track as their favorite new music release of the week. I would say that is lights out!

Charlie himself praised fans for being a massive inspiration behind the song and being along for every step of the creation of Light Switch.

Light Switch is incredibly catchy and is guaranteed to be stuck in your head hours after your first listen. You will be dancing around your living room while Charlie is on full blast, something I am all too familiar with!! Whether the lights are on or off is up to you; now we wait for the highly anticipated release of Charlie!
