Conan Gray Telepath Single Review

With a new album in the works Conan Gray releases the first leading single since announcing his 2022 world tour!
This pop-driven song revolves around the idea of a break up but he has a telepathic prediction that the significant other will come running back. Telepath is an upbeat song with a more somber message however still stuck to similar ideas conveyed in majority of his other well-known songs.
Telepath is so catchy and sound-wise actually sounds similar to something The Weeknd would sing the tune reminds me of Blinding Lights. At just 22 years old Conan Gray got his start uploading video blogs and cover songs on youtube, leading him to a gaining a growing fanbase. Since getting his start in the music industry he has made very musically advanced songs including ‘Telepath’ that are super impressive, yet also relatable among young audiences. This song in particular was co-written by pop super star Julia Michaels known for her alternative style and iconic duets. Gray hints in a past interview that fans should expect this next album to be all over the place because it is not all just one emotion, the album will be full of different emotions. He uses his young age to his advantage with his lyrics as he also openly shares his relationship struggles with his fans.
After going through multiple listens this is the kind of song that will stand out in your mind and make you want to come back for more. I know whatever album he puts out next will be just as incredible.

Overall considering every aspect of the song, it’s definitely an 8/10 for me.
I can’t wait to see Conan on tour in Nashville! Will I be seeing anyone there?
