Elton John ft. Charlie Puth After All Review

Upon first listen, this collaboration song is something I had no idea I needed in my life. The piano at the beginning of the song is just classic Elton John, but the vocals together is just a work of art. I never imagined hearing the technical beats of Charlie Puth and classic piano style ballad put together, but it was done flawlessly. The tune of the song almost reminds me of a Disney song that would be in the background of a movie like Toy Story; honestly not really sure why I get that vibe but it’s definitely not a bad thing. Now going through my second listen of this song and I definitely am feeling gravitated toward wanting to listen again and again. Charlie Puth himself hasn’t released music in quite a while, and I have missed hearing his voice, I desperately hope this song becomes a massive hit; I don’t know how it couldn’t. If you are a classic Elton John fan and not a big fan of more modern pop, I still believe you will fall in love with this collaboration song. It is unique yet still sticks to what Elton is best known for. If you’re a fan of Charlie then this song is going to be an instant new favorite for you as well. Big fan of how Elton is bringing in younger artists on his new Lockdown Sessions album, it’s a super cool idea.
Overall this song is definitely a 10/10 for me without any hesitation. Get your headphones and speakers and blast this everywhere.
